Born on August 25, 1886 in Friendship, New York, Rube Kroh (Floyd Myron Kroh) played for the Boston Americans, Chicago Cubs and Boston Braves over the course of his 6 year career. Kroh broke into the bigs on September 30, 1906 with the Boston Americans, and put up a 1.65 ERA in 120.1 innings pitched in 1909, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Rube Kroh's best season was 1909, when he posted a 1.65 ERA and struck out 51 batters.
