Royce Womble

Royce Womble (Royce Cullen Womble) was born on August 12, 1931 in Webb, Texas. After going to high school at Mansfield (TX), Womble attended the University of North Texas. Womble made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Baltimore Colts. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Baltimore Colts the entire time. Womble also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Los Angeles Chargers the entire time.
Most people believe that 1954 was Royce Womble's best year.
