Born on January 1, 1921 in Birmingham, Alabama, Royce Lint (Royce James Lint) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career. Lint broke into the bigs on April 13, 1954 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.86 ERA in 70.1 innings pitched in 1954, his rookie year.
