Roy Young (Roy O. Young) was born on September 11, 1917 in Abbeville, Louisiana. Young attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
