Born on April 13, 1893 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Roy Walker (James Roy Walker) played for the Cleveland Naps, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career. Walker broke into the bigs on September 16, 1912 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 3.98 ERA in 131 innings pitched in 1915, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Roy Walker's best season was 1921, when he posted a 4.22 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 52 batters.
