Roy Stuart (Roy J. Stuart) was born on July 25, 1920 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Stuart attended the University of Tulsa. Stuart made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Cleveland Rams. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 2 year NFL career.Stuart also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bisons the entire time.

Most people believe that 1942 was Roy Stuart's best year.
