Roy Shivers (Roy L. Shivers) was born on July 5, 1942 in Hally, Arkansas. After going to high school at McClymonds (Oakland, CA), Shivers attended Oakland Community College and Utah State University. Shivers made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Roy Shivers's best year, as he ran in 4 TDs.
