Roy Joiner

Born on October 30, 1906 in Red Bluff, California, Roy Joiner (Roy Merrill Joiner) played for the Chicago Cubs and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career. Joiner broke into the bigs on April 30, 1934 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.40 ERA in 53 innings pitched in 1940, his rookie year.
