Roy Jarvis (Leroy Gilbert Jarvis) was born on June 7, 1926 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He made his Major League debut on April 30, 1944 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Jarvis played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 3 year career.
