Roy Henshaw

Born on July 29, 1911 in Chicago, Illinois, Roy Henshaw (Roy Kniklebine Henshaw) played for the Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 8 year career. Henshaw broke into the bigs on April 15, 1933 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.28 ERA in 142.2 innings pitched in 1935, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Roy Henshaw's best season was 1935, when he posted a 3.28 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 53 batters.
