Roy Carlyle

Roy Carlyle (Roy Edward Carlyle) was born on December 10, 1900 in Buford, Georgia. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1925 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .325 with 7 home runs and 49 RBI. Carlyle played for the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.
