Ross Jones (Ross A. Jones) was born on January 14, 1960 in Miami, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 2, 1984 for the New York Mets. Jones played for the New York Mets, Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 3 year career.
