Ross Grant (Ross Stewart Grant) was born on April 16, 1908 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Marblehead (MA), Grant attended New York University. Grant made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Cincinnati-St. Louis Reds-Gunners, Cincinnati Reds and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 3 year career.
