A stringbean 6'5" 185 pounder, Detwiler hits 95 on the gun with the fastball, has a two seamer with a strong inside run to lefties, and a decent change. Detwiler will need to work on developing a breaking ball and increase his strength and stamina, although his motion is fluid. The Nationals see Detwiler as a legitimate #1 at some point and, like Marrero, will start the season in Double A and likely end it in Washington.
