Roosevelt Brown (Roosevelt Lawayne Brown) was born on August 3, 1975 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on May 18, 1999 for the Chicago Cubs. In 2002, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 3 home runs and 23 RBI. Brown played for the Chicago Cubs for his entire 4 year career.
