Ronnie Mccartney (Ron McCartney) was born on July 29, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia. After going to high school at Stonewall Jackson (Charleston, WV), Mccartney attended the University of Tennessee. Mccartney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Ronnie Mccartney's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
