Ron Wooten (Ronald John Wooten) was born on June 28, 1959 in Bourne, Mississippi. After going to high school at Kinston (NC), Wooten attended the University of North Carolina. Wooten made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 7 year career.
