Ron Wetzel (Ron Joseph Wetzel) was born on November 10, 1960 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at South Hills (PA), Wetzel attended Arizona State University. Wetzel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
