Ron Warner (Ron Warner) was born on September 26, 1975 in Independence, Kansas. After going to high school at Independence (KS), Warner attended Independence Community College and the University of Kansas. Warner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Washington Redskins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Most people believe that 2004 was Ron Warner's best year.
Traded to Edmonton from Winnipeg in April 2007 along with a 4th round draft pick in exchange for DB Jason Nugent and a 5th round draft pick in the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft. In 2007 Warner started 15 games for the Eskimos, recording 34 defensive tackles, one special teams tackle, one knockdown, four quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles and three tackles for losses. He also recorded a blocked punt.
