Ron Solt (Ronald Matthew Solt) was born on May 19, 1962 in Bainbridge, Maryland. After going to high school at James M. Coughlin (Wilkes-Barre, PA), Solt attended the University of Maryland. Solt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 9 year career.
