Ron Singleton (Ronald Lee Singleton) was born on April 15, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at West Jefferson (Harvey, LA), Singleton attended Grambling State University. Singleton made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 5 year career.
