Ron Shegog (Ronald Shegog) was born on March 2, 1963 in Batesville, Mississippi. After going to high school at South Panola (Batesville, MS), Shegog attended Austin Peay State University and Northwest Mississippi Community College. Shegog made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
