Ron Sellers (Ronald Sellers) was born on February 5, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at Paxson (Jacksonville, FL), Sellers attended Florida State University. Sellers made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Boston Patriots. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Boston Patriots the entire time. Sellers also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Boston Patriots over the course of his 4 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Ron Sellers's best year, as he had 705 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
