Ron Sams (Ronlad F. Sams) was born on April 12, 1961 in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at South Fayette (McDonald, PA), Sams attended the University of Pittsburgh. Sams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 2 year career.
