Ron Mcdole (Roland Owen McDole) was born on September 9, 1939 in Chester, Ohio. After going to high school at DeVilbiss (Toledo, OH), Mcdole attended the University of Nebraska. Mcdole made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 10 year NFL career.Mcdole also played in the AFL for 8 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Houston Oilers over the course of his 8 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Ron Mcdole's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
