Ron Mayo (Ronald Mayo) was born on October 11, 1950 in Washington, District Of Columbia. After going to high school at Spingarn (Washington, DC), Mayo attended Morgan State University. Mayo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Houston Oilers over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Ron Mayo's best year.
