Ron Mathis

Born on September 25, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri, Ron Mathis (Ronald Vance Mathis) played for the Houston Astros for his entire 2 year career. Mathis broke into the bigs on April 13, 1985 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 6.04 ERA in 70 innings pitched in 1985, his rookie year.
