Ron Hornsby (Ronald Joseph Hornsby) was born on August 16, 1949 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Greensburg (LA), Hornsby attended Southeastern Louisiana University. Hornsby made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Ron Hornsby's best year.
