Ron Holmes (Ronald Holmes) was born on August 26, 1963 in Fort Benning, Georgia. After going to high school at Timberline (Lacey, WA), Holmes attended the University of Washington. Holmes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1989 was Ron Holmes's best year, as he recorded 9 sacks.
