Ron Gassert (Ronald Earl Gassert) was born on July 22, 1940 in Campbelltown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Bordenton Military Academy (Bordenton, N J), Gassert attended the University of Virginia. Gassert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
