Ron Copeland (Ronald Wayne Copeland) was born on October 3, 1946 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Dorsey (Los Angeles, CA)*, Copeland attended East Los Angeles JC and the University of California - Los Angeles. Copeland made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
