Ron Coomer (Ronald Bryan Coomer) was born on November 18, 1966 in Crest Hill, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on August 1, 1995 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1996, his rookie year, he hit .296 with 12 home runs and 41 RBI. Coomer played for the Minnesota Twins, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Ron Coomer's best season was 1997, when he hit for a .298 average and knocked in 85 runs.
