Born on July 30, 1971 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Ron Blazier (Ronald Patrick Blazier) played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 2 year career. Blazier broke into the bigs on May 31, 1996 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 5.03 ERA in 53.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.
