Ron Battle (Ronnie Jerome Battle) was born on March 27, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After going to high school at Southwood (Shreveport, LA), Battle attended the University of North Texas. Battle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1982 was Ron Battle's best year.
