Ron Acks (Ronald William Acks) was born on October 3, 1944 in Herrin, Illinois. After going to high school at Carbondale (IL), Acks attended the University of Illinois. Acks made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1973 was Ron Acks's best year.
