Roland Nabors (Roland Richard Nabors) was born on July 22, 1924 in Meadow, Texas. After going to high school at Lubbock (TX), Nabors attended Texas Technical University. Nabors made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the New York Yankees. He played for the New York Yankees for his entire 1 year career.
