Roger Powell (Roger Mills Powell) was born on August 17, 1894 in Austin, Texas. After going to high school at Austin Academy (Austin, TX), Powell attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Powell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Buffalo Rangers. He played for the Buffalo Rangers for his entire 1 year career.
