Born on June 26, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois, Rodney Myers (Rodney Luther Myers) played for the Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career. Myers broke into the bigs on April 3, 1996 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 4.68 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
