Rod Monroe (Rodrick Monroe) was born on July 30, 1975 in Hearne, Texas. After going to high school at Hearne (TX), Monroe attended McLennan Community College and the University of Cincinnati. Monroe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1999 was Rod Monroe's best year.
