Rod Harris (Roderick World Harris) was born on November 14, 1966 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Carter (Dallas, TX), Harris attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Harris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was Rod Harris's best year, as he had 416 punt return yards and had 473 kick return yards.
