Rod Barksdale (Rod Dean Barksdale) was born on September 8, 1962 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Compton (CA), Barksdale attended the University of Arizona. Barksdale made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Los Angeles Raiders. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Raiders over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Rod Barksdale's best year.
