Rod Barajas (Rodrigo Richard Barajas) was born on September 5, 1975 in Ontario, California. He made his Major League debut on September 25, 1999 for the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2002, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 3 home runs and 23 RBI. Barajas played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Rod Barajas's best season was 2005, when he slugged 21 home runs and knocked in 60 runs.
