Rod Babers (Roderick Henri Babers) was born on October 6, 1980 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Lamar (Houston, TX), Babers attended the University of Texas. Babers made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
