I don't know, that still looks pretty bad. No amount of writing or action sequences can make me forget that that's supposed to be a 60 year old man actually competing with a top-notch boxer. This isn't like Foreman coming out of retirement to fight a nobody. And wasn't he supposed to have incurred some brain damage or something in Rocky V?

I think they're banking on the fact that Rocky V was 16 years ago and no one really remembers what happened back then, I sure don't. He's making a Rambo IV now too so who knows. I wasn't a big Rambo fan so hopefully the new Rocky is somewhat entertaining.

Yeah, I heard about Rambo IV about five years ago, so I was hoping the idea just died. I heard he wanted to make it about Rambo going after bin Laden (the concept was announced about a month after 9/11). Then I heard about Rocky VI. I thought they should have just combined the two (since both will suck, and nobody will see either one) and made it a boxing movie with bin Laden. Maybe the US catches him, but a boxing promoter talks a war crimes tribunal into putting bin Laden in a fight to the death with Rocky. Of course, they'd have to come up with something catchy that rhymes with Mesopotamia to promote the fight.

Rocky V was one of the worse movies ever made. It really did no justice to the series. And now we get Rocky VI. I don't know. I would hope that this is like Rocky IV, but who knows. Wife is dead, Rocky is a widow, and is ancient. Not a very good storyline in my opinion. Then again, Rambo 4 may make Rocky VI look like a Best Picture winner. :)
