Born on February 18, 1962 in Santa Rosa, California, Rocky Childress (Rodney Osborne Childress) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros over the course of his 4 year career. Childress broke into the bigs on May 17, 1985 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
