I'm an old head compared to some of you young bucks and does. I'm from a time when we used burlap and bungee cords... because condoms weren't invented yet. 'Been 'round here mighty long time, I reckon.

But there used to be a nice little feature that every page had that was a delicious curiosity for stat geeks and obsessive compulsive freeks called "This page has been viewed <x> times" 1, 2, 3, 4...

I think it's called a "page counter" or something... 1, 2, 3, 4...

Did we lose that fun little curiosity ending nugget in the great "Wikia (un)Hostile Takeover/1st Annual Founder's Money Fight"?

Or is it something we can get back. I missed seeing how many times Derek Jeter's profile was gawked at... and J.J. Redick Redick is a good one too...

And how people would bitch "I can't believe this page was looked at <x> times" yet they were part of that total...

(Of course I am an egotistical prick that's curious about his own traffic, you don't need to remind me.)

Then we can have scrolling sports-related funnies in the sentence that makes Armchair so kitschy and cuddly...

A few suggestions if you don't mind...

"This page has been gone yard steroid free <x> times."

"This page is on a <x> views streak!"

"Undefeated! <x> views and no losses!"

"Meeting another milestone at <x> views"
