Rockies 9 Day Layoff....Help or Hinder?

With the start of the WS Wednesday night, the Rockies will have gone 9 days without playing. They have won 21 out of 22 games. With this long a delay between games, does it help or hinder them? When a team is hitting on all cylinders it sometimes hurts the continuity,etc. Your thoughts?
