Rocco Canale (Rocco P. Canale) was born on May 1, 1917 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Watertown (NY), Canale attended Boston College. Canale made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh. He played for the Boston Yanks, Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia/Pittsburgh over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Rocco Canale's best year.
