Roberto Mejia (Roberto Antonio (Diaz) Mejia) was born on April 14, 1972 in Hato Mayor, Hato Mayor (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on July 15, 1993 for the Colorado Rockies. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .231 with 5 home runs and 20 RBI. Mejia played for the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career.
