Robert Steele (Robert Hugh Steele) was born on August 2, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia. After going to high school at Hardaway (Columbus, GA), Steele attended the University of North Alabama. Steele made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Robert Steele's best year.
